Julia Hederus

Julia Hederus was born in stockholm, sweden in 1982. she made her first 4-piece unisex collection when she was 17. She continued with art studies in denmark 2002, and started with fashion design studies at Kolding design school, Denmark for her BA. At the age of 23 she moved to London to study menswear fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. In February 2007 she graduated with a master degree and showed her final collection at London Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by Lego and all the jackets and t-shirts where cut as rectangular box shapes. all the seams where glued together, using no-sew technology. As a part of the collection, she approached K-Swiss and to design and create the block style trainers featured on this site. In February 2008 Julia Hederus presented her a/w 08 collection at ideal showroom in berlin. She has now started up her own business and works independently with her own studio. Her focus on menswear, sport and transformability has always been essential, because that's what she thinks will take fashion forward.
